If you would like to request deletion of your TopCar account and the personal information associated with it, you may submit a request by contacting us using the information below.
How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your account and personal information, please email:

- The email address associated with your TopCar account
- Your TopCar username (if available)
- A brief statement requesting account deletion
For your security, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.
What Happens When Your Request Is Processed
Once your identity has been verified and your request has been approved:
- Your TopCar account will be permanently deleted.
- Your personal information will be removed or anonymized where reasonably possible.
- You will no longer be able to access your account.
- The deletion process cannot be reversed.
Please note that account deletion may affect your ability to recover content, participate in competitions, or access features associated with your account.
Information That May Be Retained
In certain circumstances, TopCar may retain limited information after an account deletion request, including where necessary to:
- Comply with legal obligations;
- Resolve disputes;
- Enforce our Terms of Use;
- Detect or prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
- Maintain financial, tax, or audit records where required by law.
Any retained information will only be kept for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes.
Public Community Content
TopCar is designed to celebrate and document automotive culture.
If you have publicly shared vehicle information, competition results, event participation, comments, reviews, or other community contributions, some of that information may remain visible after your account is deleted if:
- it has been anonymized so it is no longer associated with your personal account;
- it forms part of a historical record relating to a vehicle, event, or competition; or
- retention is required by applicable law.
Where practical, personally identifiable information associated with public contributions will be removed or anonymized.
Vehicle Verification & Car Passports
If your account includes vehicle verification, Car Passports, verification badges, registry records, or similar features, deletion of your account may affect those features.
Certain historical vehicle information may be retained in anonymized form to preserve the integrity of vehicle records, provided such retention complies with applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
Processing Time
We will respond to verified deletion requests within the time required by applicable law.
Depending on your jurisdiction and the complexity of your request, processing may take up to 30 days, although many requests are completed sooner.
If additional time is required, we will notify you as required by law.
